New crane in 10 t axle load version

With the SK597-AT4, Hellmich Kranservice GmbH from Riedstadt has put a new Spierings crane into service, which was handed over at Bauma and has successfully completed numerous jobs since its arrival in Riedstadt.

The SK597-AT4 offers a maximum load capacity of 7,000 kg and a maximum outreach of 48 m, with a load capacity of 1,700 kg still available. The 4-axle vehicle with EU Stage V engine and ZF TraXon transmission features various brand-new mobile crane technologies and a completely revamped driver’s cab. The crane features Bluetooth transmission, a truck navigation system, air conditioning, reversing and side view cameras as well as a trolley display and touchscreen in the crane cab. The Hellmich company uses the crane in the Rhine-Main-Neckar region and therefore wrote a special feature into the manufacturer’s specifications: The crane was to be equipped with
10 t axle load and 40 t total weight on the road. It took Spierings around 18 months to meet this customer request. The result is a clean 40-tonner that is now
as a real fast-erecting crane can serve customers in the Rhine-Main-Neckar region extremely economically.
